Blessed by Destiny: Invaluable Treasures of the 3rd World
A poem to my Colombia. There is not a bigger fortune than having born in the third world.
In a land where shadows dance,
Amidst the circumstance,
There blooms a soul, in humble birth,
A treasure found in the third world's worth.
Within the community, bonds so strong,
Friendship's embrace, where hearts belong.
In laughter and tears, they find their way,
Together they weather each passing day.
Nature's embrace, a balm for the soul,
From mountains grand to rivers that roll.
In forests deep and skies so vast,
A symphony of beauty, forever to last.
Empathy's touch, a guiding light,
Love and compassion, shining bright.
Loyalty woven through their every deed,
Real connections nourish, like precious seed.
Joy knows no borders, worries set aside,
For hardworking hands, a source of pride.
In toil and sweat, their spirits soar,
Good people, good hearts, forevermore.
Fortunate souls, born in this land,
Grateful for blessings, they understand,
Life's true riches lie not in gold,
But in the spirit of stories yet untold.
